While no one is excited to return to real life after a relaxing beach vacation, no one was more peeved than one agitated traveler, who decided to take his post-vacation blues out on a hotel staffer simply trying to do her job.


Though the woman in the clip may have been offering the peeved tourist a courtesy 15-minute warning before his required checkout time, the visitor clearly wasn’t reciprocating the courtesy, verbally tearing her a new one after she allegedly dropped by at 10:42 instead of 10:45.



“It was 15 minutes!” the hotel staffer exclaimed amid the chaos.


“No, it was actually 20 minutes before 11!” The man fired back. “It was at 10:42!”


Though the employee explained that her phone had the proper time — “Well my clock said 10:45!” — the hotel guest couldn’t be bothered to chalk up the minor discrepancy as just that, accusing the employee of mocking him in her kind gesture.


“Your boss, the owner of this store is going to see this and they are going to see what you did!” he insisted, a threat that immediately fell flat in light of his abhorrent behavior.


“I will be sure to let the owners know exactly what happened,” she replied. “The owners don’t put up with customers like this. They don’t put up with people treating their employees like this!”


While it’s unclear whether or not the entitled customer made good on his promise to avoid Choice Hotels for the foreseeable future, we can only hope God had mercy on the airport employees he inevitably dealt with next.
